How Jio Mami Is Bringing A Thrilling Collection Of Films That You May Not Get Anywhere

Jio Mami Film Festival has been giving audiences especially film buffs amazing programmes during this Lockdown such as “Dial M For Films” a knowledge series on filmmaking and “Home Theatre” showcasing films you might have missed only at home.

Well they’ve now partnered with “Mubi” the streaming service that launched last year bringing exclusive films from regional, festival, new voices and even specific director’s filmography as a “new film every day” format.

Mubi has created a special place in our hearts and with that Jio Mami aims to bring a special preview of one film a month exclusively for members of its popular Year-Round Programme.

The first film to be shown as part of the new collaboration will be Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s acclaimed “S Durga” on 23rd July. It premiered at Jio MAMI 19th Mumbai Film Festival in 2017. It was part of the competition section India Gold and won the Special Jury Mention, India Gold.

MAMI Year-Round Programme members will be able to watch S Durga for free on MUBI for 24 hours on the 23rd July, a day before it officially starts showing on MUBI INDIA on the 24th July.
