The praises of the Malayalam films are heard in a great spectrum of the world audience. Besides this, its rampage is also affecting the world’s film festivals having big names. Surprisingly, this Malayalam web series is going to premiere at the upcoming International Film Festival of India. What are its expectations?
‘Pharma’ is expected to be a medical drama written and directed by P R Arun, where Krishnan Sethukumar for MovieeMill Productions will be bankrolling the effort. As per the reports, it will be played as a web series that will be having one season.
The technical labour includes the cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam, editing overseen by Sreejith Sarang, and music as well as the background scores composed by Jakes Bejoy that are of high expectations in backing the engaging factor for the effort.
Actor Nivin Pauly is playing the lead role alongside actors Rajit Kapur, Narain, Shruti Ramachandran, and Veena Nandakumar playing important roles respectively.
Subsequently, this effort is going to be the first ever Malayalam web series to be screened in the international festival with an additional flavour of the world premiere. Also, this will be the lead actor’s first such project and he is popular for his feats in ‘Moothon: The Elder One’, ‘Premam’, and ‘Bangalore Days’.
Furthermore, it is hoped to be a pride moment for Mollywood to satisfy the festival authorities’ objective of presenting the works of new and talented performances as well as the technical wing where the vice-versa is also highly anticipated.
