If you have subscribed to the Netflix OTT platform in India or elsewhere, there might have been many instances when you have wanted to watch a movie or series but that particular title wasn’t streaming on Netflix. Not just on Netflix, that title may even not be streaming on any OTT platform.
What if we tell you that you can potentially watch those movies or shows on Netflix which are not even streaming on the OTT platform? The idea might seem virtually impossible and preposterous but it’s potentially possible. With a catch, of course.
Netflix houses a unique feature where both Netflix subscribers and non-subscribers as well can communicate / suggest to Netflix that they are willing to watch a particular movie or series in any language. But the catch is Netflix definitely registers your suggestions (not just one but three title suggestions) through the aforementioned ‘Title Request’ feature but it is not necessary that your title suggestion will be considered and made available for streaming on their OTT platform in the near future. That seems obvious because Netflix can’t add all the titles suggested by OTT enthusiasts from all over the world.
But in case your title is a good one, interesting and is not streaming anywhere on OTT, chances are that Netflix may consider your request and forward it to the higher-ups for approval and potentially for making it available for streaming on the Netflix OTT platform.
