Allu Arjun‘s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has been called off from the theatres. But quite obviously makers were in great enthusiasm when the movie was announced for a Hindi theatrical release.
Even all the dubbing work is completed that also includes the song. It also includes the chartbuster song Butta Bomma which is popular not only among Telugu but Hindi audiences as well.
Naturally, the makers came out with a plan and the movie will now be released on TV.
The movie is all set to release on a Hindi channel called Dhinchaak on 6th February.
According to media reports, the Hindi dubbing of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has cost the makers a sum of 2 crore rupees.
Its producer Manish Shah seems quite confident that the movie will break the TRP record of Laxmii. If you remember then Laxmii was initially released on Disney+Hotstar and later on television. Due to the easy accessibility and the Akshay Kumar factor, the movie surpassed all the previous TRP records.
However this does not seem so easy for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
The name of the movie itself is quite a tongue twister for the Hindi audience. Perhaps the first thing they should have done is to think of a new name.
Regardless, the TV channel it is premiering is called Dhinchaak. Although finding this channel should not be a herculean task, it is fairly unknown for the majority of TV viewers.
So there are chances that this film may not prove itself to be so magical. But it will be interesting to see the actual data nonetheless.
