The box office collection is skyrocketing for this movie and witnessing the success of ‘Fighter’ from yesterday on theater screens, fans are expecting to witness this masterpiece on screen from their homes soon. Released on January 25, ‘Fighter’ is an action/thriller drama film directed by Siddharth Anand.
The movie is about Shamsher Pathania (Hrithik Roshan) fulfilling his dream of becoming a member of the Indian Air Force and working to challenge the odds beyond limitations. The narrative, which includes references from the 2019 Pulwama attack, seems to keep the audience at the edge of their seats from the start. The cast, which includes Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Akshay Oberoi in leading roles, has leveled an A-game with their performance.
It should be noted that ‘Fighter’ is not released in Gulf countries, except for UAE, due to denial by Gulf Cooperation Council Censors. Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, ‘Fighter’ is the first film among the planned aerial action franchise. Originally scheduled to be released on 30 September 2022, the production got delayed owing to COVID-19 pandemic. Director Siddharth Anand has earlier worked with Hirthik Roshan in movies like ‘Bang Bang!’ and ‘War’.
As per the buzz going around, OTT giant Netflix has bought the streaming OTT rights for ‘Fighter’ and tentatively, we can expect to watch the movie in the Fourth week of March on Netflix. So, fingers crossed, fans can Netflix-and-chill with ‘Fighter’ during the pre-Holi weekend!
