As grand the film, as grand the list of achievements. The long list of RRR’s achievements has added one more which no film could ever do. You must be aware that RRR has been trending continuously for weeks now ever since it debuted on the 20th of May.
From India, its predecessor is Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi which ran for 6 weeks continuously. So you can assume the tremendous difference and benchmark which the film has created on the platform.
So now, we have another record that says that “RRR” is the only film that has trended in Netflix Top 10 for 14 weeks.
You might notice that we are not talking about the English or non-English category. They always divide their films and series into two categories but the SS Rajamouli magnum opus has broken that divide.
This means that there is no film on Netflix, irrespective of English or non-English which has ever trended in the global top 10 for as long as 14 weeks.
It is an enormous success by the film and platform that an Indian movie has created the benchmark.
Thus, it will still be a worthy feat for the platform and any film doesn’t seem like breaking it for a long time.
