Hulu has recently released a trailer for its latest horror film, Jagged Mind. The movie stars Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Shannon Woodward, known for their roles in Legends of Tomorrow and Westworld, respectively. As part of Hulu’s “Pride Never Stops” campaign, the film was included to celebrate LGBTQ+ voices and representation during the Pride month. Obviously, the film couldn’t have a better start than that with Pride Month.
The film is directed by Kelley Kali. Jagged Mind follows the story of a woman who experiences blackouts and unsettling visions. These occurrences lead her to realize that she is trapped in a series of time loops, possibly connected to her enigmatic new girlfriend. Richardson-Sellers portrays the protagonist, Billie, while Woodward plays her girlfriend, Alex.
Jagged Mind will make its world premiere at the American Black Film Festival in Miami Beach on June 14. Following the premiere, the movie will be exclusively available on Hulu starting June 15, with a later international release on Disney+.
The trailer looks promising as psychological horror is in fashion these days. Movies such as Smile, M3GAN, and more have been greatly celebrated at the cinemas. It’ll be interesting to see what Jagged Mind does on June 15. The movie is expected to be released on Hotstar on the same date.
She'll do anything to keep you.
