RSVP Movies has launched the first look poster for its upcoming biographical film ‘Tarla’. Starring Huma Qureshi in the titular role, ‘Tarla’ is based on the life of Indian food writer, chef, cookbook author, host of cooking shows and Padma Shree awardee Tarla Dalal.
Announcement of the shoot commencement came along with a poster for ‘Tarla’ that features Huma Qureshi as Tarla Dalal with spices and chopping board in the background. RSVP Movies on social media and wrote,

‘Tarla’ is a biographical film inspired from the life of Tarla Dalal and is directed by Piyush Gupta who is known for his writing credits for works like ‘Chhichhore’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Bhootnath Returns’ and ‘Ankahi Kahaniyan’. The film is written by Piyush Gupta and Gautam Ved.
Other than Huma Qureshi, ‘Tarla’ also stars Sharib Hashmi (‘The Family Man’, ‘Pagglait’, ‘Helmet’, ‘Ram Singh Charlie’). ‘Tarla’ is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari. The production companies bankrolling the film are RSVP Movies and Earth Sky.
Apart from ‘Tarla’, Huma Qureshi’s upcoming projects include ‘Double XL’ and Netflix’s ’Monica, O May Darling’. She will also be seen in SonyLIV’s ‘Maharani’ season two after winning great acclaim for the first season.
