I Am A Killer: Netflix Renews True Crime Series For Season 3

Netflix has renewed the true crime series, I Am A Killer, for Season 3. The show is well-known for showing the interviews of prisoners who have spent many years behind bars or been chosen for Death Row for their gruesome crimes.

Transistor Films, supported by Sky Studios, will shoot the series in various prisons across the US for the upcoming season. The show explores the crimes and interviews the criminals who committed them. Additionally, it bestows a picture of their criminal psyche. What prompted them to commit horrifying crimes that eventually put them in prison? What were they thinking? How do they view their crimes now after all these years? All these questions are answered through a series of interviews conducted by the showrunners.

Season 3 will focus on the criminals spending their time behind bars in some of the toughest prisons in the US. The forthcoming six-part show will hit the streaming service in late August. On the other hand, the previous seasons consist of 10 episodes each.

Netflix has an eye for delivering hard-hitting true crime shows to its viewers like House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths, Catching Killers, Night Stalker: The Hunt For A Serial Killer, Tiger King, and many more. The show made its UK debut in August 2018. Then, it arrived on Netflix almost a couple of years later.

Danny Tipping, the founder of Transistor Films, will serve as one of the show’s executive producers. His ‘I Am A Killer’ book was published at the start of this year. He co-wrote the book with Ned Parker.

‘I Am A Killer’ Season 3 will release on Netflix in August. The makers are net to reveal its release date. Stay tuned for more updates.
