This Winnie the Pooh is not your childhood hero Pooh, but a more vicious one who embarks on a journey of revenge. Though it was an innovative attempt, the film was far from being good.
As of now, “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” is one of the most horrendous films of the year, with a rating of 2.9 on IMDb and 3% on Rotten Tomatoes, which might be some kind of record.
But the makers aren’t putting an end to it, as they are determined to bring part 2 of this monstrosity. This might put Dune Part Two’s credibility into question, but that’s a question for later.
For now, they are affirmative about creating a new universe and they are naming it Poohniverse. The whole title is “Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.”
You might ask, who will be butchered now? Wait, the list is long. Pooh, Bambi, Tinkerbell, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Tigger, Piglet, The Mad Hatter, and Sleeping Beauty—the names are enough to make you go sleepless for nights to come.
2025 will have a bombastic year for copyright expiry, and this project will satisfy your ‘what if everyone went rogue’ hunger, but for the final project, you should watch at your own risk.
The lineup of events sounds intriguing, and Marvel might indeed feel a bit threatened. Here’s the corrected version:
