The newly added award category for the best web series (OTT) at the 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India Goa has generated significant buzz, particularly due to the distinguished jury panel leading the selection process. Heading the jury is none other than the acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Known for his masterful storytelling and impactful films such as “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S” and “3 Idiots,” Hirani brings a wealth of experience and a keen eye for artistic merit to the panel.
Joining him on the jury is the versatile and talented Divya Dutta. Utpal Borpujari, part of the jury for the best web series award, is quite impressive! He has won two National Film Awards. First, in 2003, he got the Swarna Kamal for being the Best Film Critic. Then, in 2018, he won another National Film Award and five Assam State Film Awards for his first movie, Ishu.
