IGN Shows How John Cena Peacemaker SDCC Cameo Happened!

A couple of days back, many DC fans and San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC for short) attendees were pleasantly surprised by John Cena‘s cameo at said event. The actor/wrestler turned up in full Peacemaker costume, sorry “uniform”, to promote the upcoming HBO Max series, ‘Peacemaker‘. Almost 20 hours ago, IGN dropped a nearly 4-minute long video that showed how this surprise visit happened as well as some of the behind the scenes interactions between Cena and some fans.

The video starts off with Cena landing in the San Diego Airport at 7 pm, in full costume. He waves off camera, showing up peace signs to the people – before the camera zooms out and shows us that he is standing alone and waving to a non-existent crowd. He is then driven to the comic con, where he interacts with some fans and takes a few selfies and tick-tocks. And then we are shown how the viral video from SDCC happened.

With the help of some fans, John Cena takes over the Comic-Con stage and introduces himself. He talks with the crowd for a bit before showing off a newer teaser for the people who turned up at the SDCC. He then goes on to interact with some lucky fans who were participating at the “Peacemaker Proving Grounds” – a paintball/shooting event. Check out the whole video at the end of this article.

Peacemaker will premiere on January 13th 2021 on HBOMax. Hopefully, we will get to see the web series on another OTT platform in India (since HBOMax isn’t available here).
