Do you know the latest series offered by Netflix India? We don’t blame you if you don’t. Because not only is it cringe worthy but also a total fiasco. We are talking about the wannabe MTV show ‘In Real Love’.
The show hosted by Rannvijay Singha and Gauhar Khan captures the life of 4 single boys and girls who are finding the love of their life in a TV show. You may find the concept extremely pathetic but shows on this concept have been made for a long time. The target audience of such shows ranges between teens of 15 to 20 years.
Regardless, at least MTV shows like Splitsvilla and Love School had some sort of viewership. When it comes to Netflix’s IRL then the response doesn’t indicate many prospects.
In fact, it is hard to find more than 5 responses at all. Even in shows like The Fabulous Wives Of Bollywood Wives, we got some responses from people who watched such content.
But In Real Love has failed to reach whichever group of people they were targeting. On one hand, competitors of Netflix India are making shows like Farzi and The Night Manager, and here is Netflix India which is imitating MTV.
Now that the show has already been released, the best Netflix India can do is to pledge never to make such shows.
