India And Its Madness For Netflix’s Spanish Hit “Money Heist”!

By Binged Bureau - Aug 02, 2021 @ 04:08 pm

Money Heist is one series from Netflix that has become a super hit not only in Spain, but around the world. The Spanish hit series is no more simply a series, it’s more than that, it is a complete phenomenon at the moment. Fans of the series are spread worldwide, but the madness in India for Money Heist is totally on another level. Money Heist with time has proved to be a constant favourite for Indians and the results are easily reflected everywhere.

Money Heist first streamed on 2nd May, 2017 and ever since that the series has given one after the other knockout seasons. People desperately waited for each season and the success of the series was eminent, when Netflix kept on renewing the series with newer seasons. The series slowed down a bit in Season 4 as everyone believed, but the end left everyone mad, crying but wanting for more.

In one certain episode, The Professor, who is played by Alvaro Morte mentions how their act of robbing the bank and going against the government, became a huge deal everywhere. That episode showed clips that mentioned how the gang was able to bring back “resistance” once again in action. But to be honest, that phenomenon to some extent was real in the real world too.

If one remembers, India saw a major protest during the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020. It was the CAA and CAB protests that broke throughout India, specially in the capital and North Eastern India. Then, one of the most iconic things surfaced on the internet, how some protesters were singing “Bella Ciao” in the protests. A Money Heist fan will definitely know what “Bella Ciao” is, it is the very song that becomes like an anthem for the entire gang and now is one for the fans all around.

Now, that is something surreal that one saw in real life, but besides that Netflix India also has proof as to how the show is absolutely loved by everyone. Money Heist is one series streaming on Netflix India, that is constantly up on the Top 10 list. By Top 10 list, we not only mean the “series” Top 10 list, but the entire “Top 10” that covers everything.

Everytime, there has been news about Money Heist or even otherwise, the series just comes back up on the list if it gets out for weeks. Now, the series’ much awaited last season is about to drop and it will be revealed in two parts. Money Heist Season 5 Part 1 trailer drops on August 2nd and the #MoneyHeistSeason5 has been constantly trending on twitter today. It’s trending simultaneously with the hashtags of Allu Arjun’s next movie #Pushpa.

All these shows how madly in love people of India are with this crime thriller Money Heist. Part 1 will start streaming on Netflix from September 3rd and will consist of 5 episodes. A lot has to be answered and a lot of revenge has to be taken. Let’s see how lit the trailer will be and how exciting Part 1 will be.
