Indian Action Film ‘Kill’ Cuts Rare Deal With Major Hollywood Studio

Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s extreme action movie ‘Kill’ has been in the news this year for all the right reasons. Last month, the highly anticipated Indian flick was showcased at the reputed Toronto International Film Festival 2023 (TIFF). And the film impressed the festival audiences in a big way. It ended up being the first runner-up for the People’s Choice Midnight Madness Award category. Despite not winning, ‘Kill’ had received a wonderful response from the TIFF audience when it was showcased at the fest.

And now, as per the latest update, ‘Kill’ has been picked up by the entertainment giant Lionsgate for film’s North American and UK rights with respect to its theatrical release in these regions. ‘Kill’ will be released in theatres sometime in the year 2024. Backed by Karan Johar, the upcoming Indian movie ‘Kill’ currently holds a fantastic critics’ score of 100% on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes based on 13 reviews.
