Rohit Shetty has begun filming his maiden web series in collaboration with streaming giant Prime Video. As is his expertise, Rohit Shetty‘s first ever OTT venture is again set in the world of the police force.
Prime Video shared the first look of the upcoming series, along with revealing its title. Prime Video and Rohit Shetty’s web series is titled ‘Indian Police Force‘. The series is headlined by young Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra, who will play a police officer in the series.
Yes, the title of the series is quite unimaginative. But Rohit Shetty and Amazon Prime Video have promised that the series will be the biggest and most action-packed series ever to be seen on Indian screens. Indian Police Force is set in the backdrop of the Delhi Police, unlike Rohit Shetty films that have a preference for the Mumbai police force or Marathi-speaking police officers.
The first look of ‘Indian Police Force’ that was shared this morning on social media has all the elements of a typical Rohit Shetty flick. An endless lineup of white Police cars, a couple of which make snazzy maneuvers in slow motion; a dashing young police officer, striding with a powerful, purposeful gait, the works.
By the looks of it, Indian Police Force seems like a series worth waiting for. Prime Video has announced that the series has begun filming already. The web series will consist of eight high-octane episodes, which will shine a light on the relentlessness, unconditional dedication and fierce patriotism of the Indian Police Force. The series will stream worldwide on Prime Video, in more than 240 countries and territories of the world.
