Rohit Shetty is undoubtedly one of India’s biggest commercial filmmakers. We are not talking about Cirkus over here. It is a super bad and practically unbearable film.
After all Rohit Shetty has an illustrious career spanning decades. If such a director is making his OTT debut then it has to be grand, no?
Actually, no.
The much talked about Indian Police Force is now streaming and it is as bad as it can get. The reviews are pathetic and the audience has downright rejected the series.
Obviously, if the focus is solely on glamour instead of writing then such a response is but natural. Regardless, the story is practically torturous and there is nothing watchable in this. The same outdated drama where everything boils down to Desh ke Dushman and terrorism.
Where’s the creativity and newness man? We are in 2024 and still consuming stories that Sarfarosh and Tiranga talked about.
Thankfully, our audience is mature. They can’t be bought with such petty stories and the response is obvious. The audience is reacting and not in the way Prime Video would like. Last year Farzi was making waves internationally and we have this kind of torture to begin our journey at Prime Video in 2024.
Regardless, let’s be hopeful. We hope the remaining slate of Prime Video is worth watching. As for Indian Police Force, stay away from it.
Sid Malhotra's charisma in Indian Police Force is unbeatable!.#IndianPoliceForceOnPrime

It’s not your fault that the creator of this series made a mockery of the Indian police force! Sorry man, the series is not only bad, but very disappointing and complete waste of time! #RohitShetty should go back to the basics of direction! Complete letdown.
