Disney / Pixar’s ‘Inside Out’, the film that miraculously brought human emotions to life with just the right degree of animation, resonated with such a large number of audiences that it ended up bagging an Academy Award.
One of the highest-grossing animated movies of all time, it revolved around eleven-year-old Riley and her five core emotions, Fear, Anger, Joy, Disgust, and Sadness, as they struggled to cope with her new life after relocating from Minnesota to San Francisco. Its highly awaited sequel, ‘Inside Out 2’ introduced a now-teenager Riley to perhaps, the most troublesome emotions of them all: envy and anxiety as she navigated her way through adolescence.
Having received a heartwarming welcome to its debut at CinemaCon this year, the sequel was anticipated to be the highest opening weekend of the year. Well, keeping in tandem with that fact, it does not come as a surprise that the film debuted with a whopping, almost perfect 90% Rotten Tomatoes Score!
The rating has now stealthily increased to 92% with about 119 positive reviews about the cinematography, animations, and storyline of the movie. The title has been so widely appreciated by critics that it is being described as one of the best animated films ever made!
Not only is this a considerable feat for Pixar, it reinstates the legacy of the studio! This is to say, don’t forget to catch ‘Inside Out 2’ in cinemas from June 14!
