Inside Out 2: Trailer Out Now! Introducing A Whole New Cast of Feelings

Riley (Kaitlyn Dias) is prepared to return as a teenager nine years after she first revealed to the world how Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), and other emotions dominated much of what went on inside her thoughts.

The highly anticipated sequel to Pixar’s popular film Inside Out, which explores a little girl’s emotions as she responds in real-time to life’s events, has a new teaser out now. Fish and cars may have feelings, according to tales like Finding Nemo and Cars. However, what occurs when an individual’s emotions possess autonomous willpower?

If Riley thought growing up meant having to deal with feelings like sadness (Phyllis Smith) and disgust (Mindy Kaling in the first film) was hard, she has no idea what’s in store for her now that she’s a teenager.

Inside Out 2 will follow an older Riley as she navigates one of the most emotionally complex periods of a person’s life: adolescence, by trying to make new friends and take up new interests. Tony Hale will portray Fear this time around, as Hader declined to return for the follow-up. Liza Lapira will provide the voice of Disgust in Inside Out 2, which will introduce Riley to new adventures.

Riley will see in the sequel how people change throughout their lives, even if she was accustomed to handling her normal emotions following the events of Inside Out. A new Inside Out 2 trailer informs viewers that new emotions have entered Riley’s brain, with Paul Walter Hauser’s embarrassment, Ayo Edebiri’s envy, Adèle Exarchopoulos’ ennui, and Maya Hawke’s anxiety joining the team that shapes the teen’s identity. In addition to the additional personalities who might disrupt Riley’s life, June Squibb has been cast in Inside Out 2, however it is unclear what her role will entail.
