The International Emmy Awards 2022 were announced last night in New York. From a total of 23 countries represented in 15 categories and 60 nominees, British content won maximum awards at the 50th International Emmy Awards. Sex Education, Help and Vigil won the cream of the awards, along with titles from Australia, France, Netherlands, among others.
The International Emmy Directorate Award was presented to Miky Lee, vice chairwoman of CJ Group. Ava DuVernay was bestowed the International Emmy Founders Award. Russian content was banned from consideration in the wake of its invasion of Ukraine.
