‘Iron Man’ Writers To Do Film Adaptation Of Indian Superhero Comics!

Here is some big news for Indian fans of superhero movies. Mark Fergus & Hawk Ostby, the writers of ‘Iron Man’, are returning to the genre and this time with an Indian superhero. They will be doing a film adaptation of the comic books of ‘Shadow Tiger’.

‘Shadow Tiger’ is written by Sharad Devarajan, and it comes from the company Graphic India. Sharad Devarajan will be producing the movie along with Fergus and Ostby. ‘Shadow Tiger’ is the story of Rajan Shah, a lawyer who finds himself in trouble when he takes on the corrupt people of the system. Suddenly he inherits a billion dollar company from somewhere and also gets strange supernatural powers from a man who kills his parents. This goes on a bit like the Batman stories and Daredevil but with writers like Mark Fergus & Hawk Ostby on board, it surely is going to come up as something unique.

Devarajan is known for co-creating the Indian Spiderman ‘Pavitr Prabhakar’ and he also worked with Stan Lee for ‘Chakra The Invincible’. He has said, “In creating ‘Shadow Tiger,’ my mission was to create a truly global superhero with uniquely Indian roots. They (Ostby and Fergus) are the perfect writers to take ‘Shadow Tiger’ to the world, and I am honored they have chosen this character to mark their return to superheroes.”

No director has been roped in yet and there is no information on which actors are going to star in the film, but hopefully there will be more details out soon.
