The seventh episode of HBO’s highly popular video game to small screen series adaptation ‘The Last Of Us’ started streaming in India on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform from yesterday.

The HBO series has garnered widespread critical admiration from across the globe but can the same be said about the latest episode? Coming straight to our main question: Is ‘The Last Of Us’ Episode-7 the worst rated episode so far? As per international movies and series database portal IMDb, it is.

‘The Last Of Us’ Episode-7 currently holds the lowest IMDb user rating when compared to the show’s first six episodes. As of now, Episode-7 titled ‘Left Behind’ has been given a rating of 7.8/10 on IMDb.

For the sake of comparison, Episodes 1-6 of ‘The Last Of Us’ series currently hold IMDb user ratings of 9.2/10, 9.1/10, 8/10, 8.4/10, 9.5/10, and 9/10, respectively. So, as you can see, the fifth episode of ‘The Last Of Us’ series is the highest rated on IMDb until now. Let’s see if that changes when Season-1 concludes and after the final two episodes are aired.

Having said that, ‘The Last Of Us’ Episode-7 has received 100% critics’ score on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, many viewers have also given their thumbs-up to the latest episode, despite the homophobic backlash.

Recently, ‘The Last Of Us’ became the first and only show which was able to crack the coveted list of IMDb’s top 250 TV shows of all time. It’s on Rank 16 now and boasts of a brilliant overall IMDb rating of 9.1/10.

The horror-adventure series ‘The Last of Us’ revolves around two characters Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and is set in the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic world full of infected creatures. The basic premise is that Joel, a hardened smuggler, is hired to transport a teenager Ellie across the country, while protecting her from omnipresent dangers.
