After the massive success of his movie “War” (which also co-starred Tiger Shroff) and it’s successful run in OTT platforms as well, Hrithik Roshan hasn’t been simply resting on his laurels. He has been offered multiple roles, but he has not green lit any yet. He is in no hurry to pick any random project and has been using the lockdown time period to set (online) meetings with film makers and script writers.
During one such meeting, Disney + Hotstar is said to have offered Hrithik the lead, according to media sources, for their Indian remake of the BBC hit series, Tom Hiddleston starrer “The Night Manager”, along with other similar projects. He is currently in talks with the makers of the world-wide fan favourite show.
“The Night Manager” is a spy thriller mystery television series based on the novel written by John Le Carre. The BBC show was created by Susanne Bier and stars acting heavyweights such as Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Elizabeth Debicki and Olivia Coleman in pivotal roles. It is stated that Disha Patani and Tabu are likely to reprise the roles of Debicki and Coleman respectively. Hrithik is mainly holding out on the role until he gets information about the “packaging of the show”.
The “Dhoom 2” actor is also said to be working together with his father on the fourth installment of the sci-fi movie series Krrish, but there has not been any updates regarding the project as it is still in the scripting phase. He has also been given the script for the sequel to “War” for his perusal as well.
Looks like it is going to get busy for Hrithik Roshan, when lockdown becomes irrelevant and he can start working again.
