The official trailer of the upcoming Malayalam movie ‘Bad Boyz’ has been released by 123 Musix on their YouTube Channel. The teaser was released a few weeks back and had average to mixed reviews and the trailer seems to be not much surprising.
The movie is directed by Omar Lulu and produced by Abraham Mathew for Abaam Movies. There is an ensemble cast for the flick which includes actors Rahman, Senthil Krishna, BibinGeorge, Dhyan Srinivasan, Babu Antony, Sheelu Abraham, Bala, Harisree Ashokan, Ramesh Pisharody, Aju Varghese, Sajin Cherukayil, Sohan Seenulal, Ajay Vasudev, Saiju kurup, Tini Tom, Shersha Sharif and Anson Paul respectively.
The storyline seems to have a spoof and spunky nature teasing previously super hit movies in the region and bringing the actors who are driving the social media which may connect the audience to produce laughter. But the dialogues seem so artificial and the screenplay by Sarang Jayaprakash is loose and predictable. There seems no necessity in content and actors are just doing their average.
Watchable elements may include the cinematography by Alby and stunt sequences that can engage the audience from Phoenix Prabhu, Ashraf Gurukkal, and Robin Tom. The music and background scores by William Francis feel marginal and don’t suit the lyrics. The genre is expected to be an action cum gangster-comedy drama which may not have convincing capability.
As the storytelling mainly depends on the regional audience with its prospects, the movie doesn’t seem to connect with the other regional viewers. However, the movie can be expected a commercial success if it is set up on a limited budget scale.
