Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer‘ is leading the charts in pre-booking tickets. In the last 24 hours more than 2.3 lakh viewers have purchased tickets for Jailer. It surpasses the sale of any other movie tickets in the last 24 hours.
The prices of ‘Jailer’ are kept too high, if you remember our previous article on the same, we had discussed how it will be difficult to make good business for Jailer with such high prices. For the first day first show, normal tickets are being sold for 800 rupees and recliners for 1400. For a diehard fan of Rajinikanth, the price must not be that much, but it is for a regular moviegoer.
But despite all odds, Jailer is still shining bright in the pre-release sales. And looks like Rajinikanth is still a superstar and his charm has not faded away.
The Gadar 2 versus OMG 2 clash does not have any hype in the northern belt too. Gadar 2 is in second position with 33 thousand sales and OMG 2 struggles with some 5 thousand tickets in 24 hours. Even in the northern belt, Rajinikanth is reigning with huge buzz and there is no movie that can compete with it at the time of its release.
