The official teaser of the drama thriller “Jalsa” is finally out on Amazon Prime Video. Featuring Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah, this movie will stream globally from March 18 on Amazon Prime. Jalsa is an alluring story of conflict, coupled with stellar performances and a gripping plot that promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seat.
The movie is jointly bankrolled by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment and directed by Suresh Triveni, who achieved acclamation for the 2017 movie “Tumhari Sulu”. This thrilling tale is portrayed through the life of a top-notch journalist and her cook. The story revolves around the hit and run case of an 18-year old girl that takes the centre stage in a system where people from different walks of life – a journalist, a cop, and a raging mother get connected, ending up getting caught in an ethical dilemma. The ensemble cast includes actors Manav Kaul, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Shrikant Mohan Yadav, Shafeen Patel, and Surya Kasibhatla to name a few.
