As per media reports, James Cameron will soon be back with his famous ‘Terminator’ franchise. Reportedly, the filmmaker has announced in a recent interview that he has already started writing a new ‘Terminator’ movie.

However, he has added that he will wait to see how Artificial Intelligence develops in the real world before continuing the script. The Terminator movies deal with AI themselves and how it deals with the real world. It will be interesting to see how ChatGPT and other AI tools growing their branches all over the internet can be of striking similitude to the director’s vision.

The first movie of the series ‘The Terminator’ came out in 1984, with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead as an android robot. The second installment came in 1991. It was called ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’. The legacy of Terminator is quite huge and it continued even after Cameron left the franchise. ‘Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines’ came out in 2003, followed by three more movies of the series named Terminator Salvation, Terminator Genisys and Terminator: Dark Fate. But the lack of the epic James Cameron style was always felt by the fans and they wished for another Terminator movie from the director. Finally, fans will get a Terminator movie from James Cameron himself.

Cameron is currently working on Avatar 3 after the huge success of Avatar: The Way Of Water. After this historically successful franchise Cameron will take up the other franchise on his hands and fans are excited for his comeback in the third Terminator directorial.
