Netflix India has finally revealed the OTT release date of Jana Gana Mana on its platform. The hit Malayalam film, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, releases on Netflix on June 2, 2022. The Jana Gana Mana OTT release date comes 34 days after its theatrical release. Jana Gana Mana had released in theatres on April 28, 2022.

Critics and audiences have showered love and accolades on the film, the performances of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu, and the film’s bold, hard-hitting approach to the sensitive issue of police encounters, fake or otherwise.
Streaming giant Netflix had bought the post-theatrical streaming rights for Jana Gana Mana much before the film released in theatres and became a hit. This is Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first film to release on Netflix. He earlier released three of his films, Kuruthi, Cold Case and Bhramam, back to back on Prime Video.
Jana Gana Mana is directed by Dijo Jose Anthony. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Mamta Mohandas in pivotal roles. The film delves into the horrifying rape and murder case of a woman. With stunning and unexpected twists and turns, the plot addresses a bold solution for the scourge of police and judicial corruption. Interestingly, Jana Gana Mana has been envisioned as a 2-part film. This is Part 1 of the film.
