Jayden Elijah is the latest to join the cast of Hulu’s limited series “Saint X“. He joins an already stacked cast of Victoria Pedretti, Josh Bonzie and West Duchovny. Rolled as an eight-part series, this Hulu series is written by Leila Gerstein and directed by Dee Rees.
Based on the Alexis Schaitkin novel of the same name, the show is best described as a psychological drama narrated via multiple timelines and through multiple perspectives. The show follows a young woman’s mysterious death amidst a Caribbean vacation and the ripples the trauma instills on the surviving sister thereby pulling her to traverse a dangerous pursuit of truth and justice.
Pedretti who leads the series plays Emily, the surviving sister whose near perfect life crumbles post the traumatic incident. Bonzie is said to be playing Clive ‘Gogo’ Richardson’, a shy and warm-hearted 20-year old man who changes into a hardened man decades later. Elijah is playing Edwin, a charming employee at the island’s resort who is grabs Alison’s (Duchovny) attention. He despises rich white people and dreams to leave the island for New York one day.
“Saint X”, designed is written and executive produced by Leila Gerstein, who previously worked with Hulu on “The Handmaid’s Tale” and “Looking for Alaska.” Dee Rees takes on the direction while also executive producing this ABC Studios’ production.
