Jennifer Garner & Zoe Saldana Join Netflix’s ‘The Adam Project’ Ft. Ryan Reynolds

Netflix’s upcoming action-adventure ‘The Adam Project’ starring Ryan Reynolds will now also feature Jennifer Garner (‘Alias’, ‘Dallas Buyers Club’) and Zoe Saldana (‘Avatar’, ‘Avengers: End Game’). ‘The Adam Project’ is being directed by Shawn Levy, the man behind Netflix’s popular series ‘Stranger Things’.

The story of ‘The Adam Project’ on Netflix revolves around a man who goes back in time and meets his 13 year old version in order to get help. While in the past, he comes face to face with his late father who’s the same age as he is now.

Garner will play the role of the teen boy’s mother while Saldana will be seen as Reynolds’ wife who is a fighter pilot by profession.

Reynolds has reunited with his ‘Free Guy’ director Levy for ‘The Adam Project’ which has been written by Jonathan Tropper. This new script is based on a previous script by Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett and TS Nowlin.

‘The Adam Project’ will be produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger for Skydance ( Six Underground, Old Guard) along with Levy via 21 Laps Entertainment and Reynolds via his Maximum Effort banner.

21 Laps’ Dan Levine and Dan Cohen, Maximum Effort’s George Dewey and Patrick Gooing on association with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett will serve as executive producers for Netflix’s ‘The Adam Project’.

This film will be the first to be made under Reynolds’ “The Group Effort Initiative”, a self-financed diversity and inclusion program that aims to give people of color a chance to work and learn on the actor’s productions. Reynolds’ Maximum Effort” and Blake Lively’s “B for Effort” have come together for “The Group Effort Initiative”.

Garner will next be seen in Netflix’s comedy feature ‘Yes Day’ which she is producing as well. On the other hand, Saldana’s upcoming ventures include ‘Avatar’ sequels, ‘The Suicide Squad’ and Netflix’s limited drama series ‘From Scratch’ wherein she also serves as the executive producer.
