Jennifer Garner’s Family Switch Becomes A Streaming Surprise On Netflix

Netflix’s latest comedy flick, Family Switch, proves that the pre-Christmas season is indeed a boon for all movies, even if they are absurd in every sense. The latest Jennifer Garner starrer has become one of the most divisive streaming hits of 2023. Some viewers have hailed the film as a pure entertainer, while others simply did not have enough strength to watch it completely.

As per the latest rankings on Netflix’s Global Top 10 films, Family Switch is second, with over 39.2 million viewing hours (22.2 million views). Adam Sandler’s Leo is at the top with 42.1 million viewing hours (23.6 million views).

However, the film’s critical reception does not look good at all. It has a ‘rotten’ 42% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 26 reviews so far. This scenario shows a significant divide among viewers regarding the film.

Family Switch arrived on Netflix on November 30. It means the film will gain more viewership, thanks to the Christmas season. It revolves around a family of four who become a part of a strange body-switching incident near the holiday season.

Apart from receiving a brilliant release window, the latest Netflix comedy also benefits from the worldwide prominence of its stars. Jennifer Garner came into the limelight again after joining Deadpool 3 as Elektra. Ed Helms is well known for his work in The Hangover trilogy (2009-13), The Lorax (2012), Captain Underpants (2017), Tag (2018), and more. Emma Myers has become a global sensation after starring in Tim Burton’s Wednesday series alongside Jenna Ortega. Brady Noon voiced Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

Well, Family Switch is now available on Netflix. You can watch it and decide whether the people who loved it deserve candies or… you know what we are talking about, right? Stay tuned for more updates.
