Ram Charan is raring to take RC15, a political drama directed by Shankar onto the floors. This project will be hitting the floors later this month and the stage is set for the same. Meanwhile, Ram Charan’s next project after RC15 is making headlines already. Several reliable reports claim that Ram Charan has agreed to work under the direction of Gowtam Tinnanuri of ‘Jersey’ fame for his immediate next project after RC15.
Reportedly, Gowtam has approached Ram Charan with a sports drama subject. The story will apparently be on the lines of ‘Jersey’, an emotionally engaging sports drama starring Nani in the lead role. Gowtam is treading familiar territory again as he has penned a sports drama subject for Ram Charan, say reports. It is also heard that Tollywood top production house UV Creations will be funding the project, in association with veteran producer NV Prasad.
While helming a sports drama might be a strong suit of Gowtam Tinnanuri, given the fact that he has directed Jersey and its Hindi remake, there is an obvious risk of repetition and monotonousness. He appears to be following ‘Jersey’ formula for the film with Ram Charan but he will have to be on the top of his game and deliver a winning film, with a fresh narrative. In all likelihood, this project will be officially announced shortly. More details will be out correspondingly. As for RC15, the Shankar directorial will have Kiara Advani in the female lead role. This will be Charan’s immediate next pan-India biggie after Rajamouli’s RRR.
