Jesse Plemons is in talks to reunite with the acclaimed director Yorgos Lanthimos for his film, Save the Green Planet. Emma Stone has already joined the movie as its lead.
Save the Green Planet marks Jesse Plemons’ second collaboration with director Yorgos Lanthimos. The actor is also working on the helmer’s next anthology project, Kinds of Kindness, also led by Emma Stone. Apart from Stone and Plemons, the film stars Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer. Lanthimos has also written the film’s screenplay, with Efthimis Filippou receiving the credit for the story. Searchlight Pictures will handle the movie’s distribution.
Jesse Plemons has become a red-hot name in Hollywood these days. After starring in Martin Scorsese’s acclaimed Killers of the Flower Moon, the actor also worked in Alex Garland’s dystopian action film, Civil War. The actor is best known for his works in projects like Black Mass (2015), American Made (2017), The Post (2017), Judas and the Black Messiah (2021), The Power of the Dog (2021), and more. He rose to global prominence through his spine-chilling performance as Todd Alquist in AMC’s Breaking Bad series.
