The most awaited digital release of Hindi cinema has lost its title. The reason is solely the OTT release of the film. We are talking about Vikram Vedha. The movie was released back in September last year and has started streaming after around 7 long months.
The movie starring Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, and Radhika Apte failed to create magic on the big screens mainly due to the fact that it was a remake. But it received widespread positive reviews from critics all around.
Regardless, the movie is finally streaming, and that too for free. However, not without faults. There are several complaints but you can also feel two problems.
In the mobile phone Android app, the audio quality is just not up to the mark. Yes, we can listen to the audio but the audio lacks the sharpness. It is too bland which is just too bad for a film like Vikram Vedha. The movie has one of the best BGMs in recent times, and what’s the point if you can’t enjoy that?
Another major and more prominent complaint is that of subtitle synchronization. The audio and subtitles are not synced which can be troublesome for people who do not speak Hindi, Bangla, or Marathi.
We realize that Jio Cinema is going through heavy backend work where they are working on developing a new payment wall along with adding HBO titles. But, a film like Vikram Vedha is just too important to ignore. We hope the issues fix soon.
