Jip Cinema took to social media to announce two new shows. The first is Tusshar Kapoor starrer series ‘Dus June Kii Raat’ and the other is Kay Kay Menon led ‘Shekhar Home’.
‘Dus June Kii Raat’ first look poster features the lead stars standing in front of an old worn out film theatre. There’s popcorn spilled around, movie reels lying on the ground, a birthday cake in one corner, movie tickets flying and a few cardboard boxes kept in the background.
The expressions on the face of the actors who don different characters also vary. Someone’s happy, someone’s scared, the others are chill, in fight mode, alert and casual modes. Overall, the poster for ‘Dus June Kii Raat’ is pretty average and not exciting at all.
Based on writer Santosh Pathak’s famous book ‘Dus June Ki Raat’ published by Thrill World Publication and directed by Tarbez Khan, the series is the first chapter of the franchise and stars Tusshar Kapoor, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shaan Groverr, Bijou Thaangjam, Ajay Rawat, Mia Magar and Leena Sharma among others. The show is produced by Balaji Telefilms Private Limited and Jaasvand Entertainmentz.

On the other hand Jio Cinema also launched the motion poster for Srijit Mukherji’s ‘Shekhar Home’ which it describes as an original work of fiction inspired from literary works by Sir Arthur Canon Doyle which are in public domain.
The motion poster launched for ‘Shekhar Home’ has pieces of a puzzle coming together to reveal an image of Kay Kay Menon’s character in the show. Mukherji and Menon have earlier worked together on Netflix series ‘Ray’.
‘Shekhar Home’ is a detective drama series also starring Ranvir Shorey, Rasika Dugal, Kirti Kulhari, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in prominent roles.
While the release date was not unveiled for ‘Shekhar Home’, ‘Dus June Kii Raat’ will premiere only on Jio Cinema on 4th August, 2024.
