Jio Cinemas has announced a new family comedy series ‘Primetime With The Murthys’ and they claim it to not be that average Bollywood family. Helmed by Arvind Sastry, ‘Primetime With The Murthys’ will start streaming on Jio Cinema from 3rd July in English, Hindi and Tamil.
‘Primetime With The Murthys’ follows a family of four whose lives are described as roller coaster kind a ride where they navigate fame, family, and the mainstream media circus.
The teaser video launched today gives a glimpse into the lives of the Murthys where the mother is concerned about her teenage children, father has his own worries, son is an online troller and the daughter a wanna be influencer.
Overall there’s nothing new that pops out or makes you smile let alone laugh. Looks like an average drama that tries to play the family comedy card that has worked for some other shows recently.
‘Primetime With The Murthys’ stars Preetam Koilpaillai, Sukhita Aiyar, Amrith Jayan, Sanjana. Set to premiere on 3rd July, ‘Primetime With The Murthys’ will be available in English, Hindi and Tamil.
