Jio Cinema has launched the trailer of upcoming direct-to-digital film ‘Visfot’ and its one racy thriller drama where two different worlds collide accidentally. A remake of the 2012 Venezuelan drama ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’ which was the Venezuelan entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 85th Academy Awards, ‘Visfot’ is directed by Kookie Gulati and will premiere only on Jio Cinema on 6th September, 2024.
‘Visfot’ trailer begins as a routine morning in two people’s lives: one, a pilot who is running late for a flight and the other, a taxi driver returning home after a night shift. While the former is on his way to drop his kid at school, he finds his wife cheating on him with another man. On the other hand, the driver is in trouble after he loses the jacket of a man, that has some cash or counterfeit product, in a house fire and now his and his girlfriend’s life is under threat as a deadly gangster is looking for him.
Their world’s collide when the taxi driver while on the run mistakenly kidnaps the pilot’s son who was meanwhile catching his wife red handed and thrashing her partner. Though the driver had no bad intention initially, the child is now caught up in the crossfire and he tries to get the money from his father as ransom to pay the gangster and free himself and his girlfriend.
‘Visfot’ trailer seems to give away quite a lot but you still feel like wanting to know more. That shows the trailer is well cut, fast paced and intriguing. Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh look good in their respective roles, while Krystle D’Souza and Priya Bapat also make an impression in their limited a lot in the trailer.
Directed by Kookie Gulati, ‘Visfot’ is touted to be a gripping crime thriller explores that dangerous consequences of deceit and poor choices. The film follows the lives of two families, one living in a Mumbai slum and the other in a luxurious high-rise, whose paths intertwine unexpectedly. A series of events leads to a tragic explosion, leaving one man wrongly accused of a crime he didn’t commit. As he fights to clear his name, he uncovers a web of corruption and deceit that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.
