JioCinema has unveiled a brand new promo for its upcoming series, “Gaanth Chapter 1: Jamnaa Paar”, led by the talented trio of Manav Vij, Monika Panwar, and Saloni Batra. The latest clip teases the series’ plot, which revolves around a mysterious death case of a family.
The promo opens with Manav Vij’s character, a cop, receiving the charge of a family’s sensitive and mysterious death case. While the media portrays it as a religious cult killing and some suspect suicide, the investigation takes an unexpected turn after cops start to believe that the family’s mysterious demise is a case of mass murder.
Monika Panwar plays Sakshi, a doctor, in the series. Sakshi has the ability to notice unusual things or unnoticed elements. In addition, the entire case gets more complicated after the arrival of the media and the CBI. The show seems to be touching on some sensitive elements, such as religious sacrifices, superstitions, spirits, and more.
‘Gaanth Chapter 1: Jamnaa Paar’ is the production of Viacom18’s branch, Tipping Point. Ajit Andhare produced the project, along with Anjali Bhushan and Mark Benjamin serving as the series’ executive producers. Kanishk Varma has helmed the show. On the other hand, Fahim Irshad, Anagh Mukherjee, and Soham Bhattacharyya have written it. Apart from the leading trio, the series stars talents like Gopal Datt, Rajesh Tailang, Naved Aslam, Shravan Boranna, Sidharth Bhardwaj, and Neha Iyer. It will premiere on JioCinema on June 11.
