JioCinema has been highly aggressive in terms of bringing new series and films. The platform brings new series every week while other platforms are struggling to keep up with one series a month.
But, they are overkilling the dubbing part. Asur Season 2 is a super big series for which the country was waiting for several years. However series like UP 65 don’t need that level of attention.
The newly released series is streaming in 8 audios namely Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, and Bengali.
Whoever has the slightest idea of Indian languages will know that the native speakers of Bhojpuri, Gujarati, and somewhat Bengali are very aware of Hindi.
But dubbing is not even a problem as long as it is bringing a bigger and more diverse set of subscribers. The problem arrives when the platform is putting too much energy into dubbing series when so much work is needed in fixing UI and ad management.
People are constantly complaining about the abrupt ads even in the premium plan of the platform.
Anyways, UP 65 is based on a book by Nikhil Sachan. It tells the story of students studying at Banaras Hindu University. Needless to say, BHU is huge and so are the attractions of Varanasi. The story will revolve around how they manage to cope with wandering in Varanasi along with studying.
