JioCinena has partnered with popular local short-video mobile applications – ShareChat and Moj. This partnership comes from the streaming platform’s ongoing efforts to bring its extensive and exhilarating sports content to a broader audience through highlights and other short-duration formats.
Currently, Moj and ShareChart collectively treasure a comprehensive user base of more than 325 million users. Through their collaboration with JioCinema, their users will be able to enjoy a wide range of bite-sized content about their favourite sport. In addition, users can watch this content in their desired languages through the option of multi-lingual commentary, provided by JioCinema’s experts. On top of this scenario, users will be able to enjoy plenty of jokes, unheard stories, and direct conversations from dressing rooms.
This collaboration will bestow a comprehensive range of sports content from major leagues or sporting events like the TATA IPL, TATA WPL, ISL, and the 2024 Olympics. An official statement from JioCinema confirms that this tie-up is part of the streaming platform’s strategy to expand its reach among regional viewers.
Moj has emerged as one of the leading Indian short video platforms, having an extensive presence among the country’s regional viewers.
Hursh Shrivastava, head of strategy, partnerships and acquisitions at Viacom18 sports, said this about JioCinema’s recent tie with ShareChat and Moj, “ShareChat and Moj will not only bring a newer audience but also scale to our regional presentation across multiple languages.” Stay tuned for more updates.
