House of The Dragon didn’t just bring joy among the fans; it also brought a plethora of controversy. Though JioCinema is adopting freebie techniques and extremely cheap plans for premium content, it is probably not enough to compensate for the bad experience of the fans.
Firstly, fans were annoyed to find out that the episodes were shorter. As JioCinema addressed the issue, a new problem arose, this time related to 4K streaming.
Users can’t access 4K streaming of House of The Dragon, and as reported, JioCinema doesn’t have the equipment to allow 4K streaming on all devices.
And what if your device is optimized for 4K streaming?
JioCinema then offers an experience that will likely make you avoid streaming in 4K. There is a prominent green screen glitch observed by fans, which is annoying, to say the least.
But it’s not just the 4K streaming that’s worsening the experience. JioCinema allows users to stream at 1080p, but that too is very fluctuating. In most cases, the streaming quality drops to 480p or even lower.
Though it is probably doing a charity for the fans with the freebie model and cheap subscription plans, they are definitely sacrificing the quality of the experience. Fans might have to ask, is it really worth it? While the platform is being heavily used by the masses, many are practically pissed at the platform.
Yeah, i can see some other contents in alsi 4K. But not House of the dragon. I have capable devices which can play asli 4k easily. Be clear about wether this particular content will be made available in 4K or not, if jot there is no point in having the subscription

@JioCinema @JioCinema_Care 1. There's green screen on HBO shows - Your DM didn't help at all! Every video which opens automatically in 4K has this issue and in every video I change it to HD - then it works fine

2. The Jio Cinema app itself is crashing now on TV!
