Indian actor Tusshar Kapoor won hearts with his portrayal of the notorious yet kind-hearted Lucky Gill in Rohit Shetty’s comedy film franchise ‘Golmaal’. Through his amicable acting antics, he made his character who was shown to be born with a speech impairment popular!
Most recently, he featured in an episode of Farhad Samji’s 2023 web-series ‘Pop Kaun’, as well as a cameo in Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘LSD 2: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2’. However, he is now on his way back to headline a brand new web-series of his own!
Starring alongside Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, he is all set to return to the small screen with the comedy-thriller series ‘Dus June Kii Raat’. Directed by Tabrez Khan, the show will premiere exclusively on JioCinema on August 4.
The plot follows ‘Panauti’ Bhagyesh, a man notoriously infamous for his bad luck and misfortunes. When the residents of his town, Raniganj, avoid him like the plague, his father’s beloved cinema shuts down. Now, Panauti’s only goal is to revive the theatre and honour his father’s legacy.
With pure intentions, he sets out to do just that. But lo and behold, and to no one’s surprise, he ends up finding himself entangled in a web of outrageous predicaments. Will his quest out of this web make an interesting watch for audiences?
