JioCinema, once praised for its vast library of Hollywood TV shows and movies, is now facing harsh criticism from its users. Despite offering a subscription that promises “4K ASLI 4K” quality, many subscribers are reporting significant issues with the platform’s streaming performance, leaving them frustrated and disappointed.
One of the most common complaints is the inconsistent streaming quality, especially on high-end devices like LG OLED TVs. Users report that, despite their televisions supporting advanced features such as 4K, Dolby Vision, Dolby ATMOS, and HDR10 Pro, JioCinema often fails to deliver the promised 4K experience. Instead, the streaming quality fluctuates randomly between 1080p and 4K, leading to a jarring viewing experience. Multiple users have raised these concerns with JioCinema’s customer support, but the issues remain unresolved, leaving many to question the platform’s commitment to quality.
The situation appears to be even more dire for those using Apple TV 4K. Users have noted that when the streaming quality is set to automatic, the platform struggles to maintain a stable resolution. It frequently dips to as low as 240p or 360p, and rarely reaches 1080p, let alone true 4K. When attempting to manually select 4K quality, the image becomes so blurry and pixelated that it’s practically unwatchable. This has led many users to label JioCinema’s “4K” branding as misleading and far from reality.
Adding to the frustration, JioCinema currently lacks Dolby Atmos support entirely, and the platform’s Dolby Digital 5.1 offering falls well short of expectations, leaving audiophiles and movie enthusiasts disappointed. This absence of high-quality sound, combined with the inconsistent video quality, positions JioCinema as one of the worst streaming services in the country.
Furthermore, premium members report being forced to watch ads when pausing content on the laptop and mobile apps—a feature that feels like a slap in the face for paying customers. For a platform that markets itself as a premium service, such shortcomings are not only disappointing but also unacceptable.
In conclusion, while JioCinema may boast an impressive content library, its failure to consistently deliver high-quality streaming and audio is a significant flaw. Users are growing increasingly vocal about these issues, and until they are addressed, JioCinema risks losing the trust of its most loyal subscribers.

Is their any issue for samsung users in @JioCinema?? I use s23 Ultra yet highest video quality its showing as 720p, where as in Pixel 6A I can see its showing 1080p, learn from @GoogleIndia .
Kindly fix this. pic.twitter.com/eTW94sQfp2
Don't know whether it is a deliberate attempt from @JioCinema or not but,#AmazonPrime consumes much lesser data than #JioCinema & still gives better video, sound quality experience. @JioCinema needs to upgrade itself on many areas to match with #AmazonPrime.

These are just quality issues, the interface is so cluttered! Highlighting random stuff, cannot watch 2 sports that are occurring simultaneously in different apps.
