JioFiber’s Prime Video Services A Scam?

Jio is indeed that wicked kid who can’t stay out of trouble, as anything they do creates big chaos. Currently, Jio is not just at the center of controversy because of their price hike, but their JioFiber is also creating problems for users, which comes off as annoying.

Most big internet providers now add some OTT benefits to capture the audience, and JioFiber did the same. However, their Prime Video venture is falling flat.

Most OTT platforms have a limitation on screens, or in simple terms, they limit the number of devices you can use simultaneously. While this might be an annoying feature, every OTT platform has it, so you can’t really avoid it.

For the Prime Video Lite plan, which Jio provides to users, there is a three-device limitation. However, this is practically an illusion because users can’t get the best out of it. One of the devices always has to be the JioFiber, so users have to settle with two devices, which is not always comfortable.

Additionally, a couple of weeks back, some users were facing problems logging into the Prime Video app. Claiming that Jio’s services are underwhelming is an understatement, as they have been like this for quite a long time.

One thing Jio needs to do is to first fix these problems and then offer it to people. Although they are keeping the cost extremely low, sometimes even offering it as a freebie, the services are below average.
