And the big news is here. You must have seen how Jio in its recharge plan has included Netflix & Prime Video but not JioCinema Premium. Well, we at Binged have also raised this strange phenomenon.
Looks like Jio took it seriously and we have news from Jio TV. JioTV Premium subscription is ready to provide 14 popular OTT platforms. This move signifies a significant expansion of Jio’s services, offering subscribers a consolidated platform for diverse entertainment options. The JioTV Premium subscription encompasses platforms such as JioCinema Premium, Disney+ Hotstar, ZEE5, SonyLIV, Prime Video (Mobile), Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Docubay, Hoichoi, SunNXT, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, EpicON, and Kanccha Lannka.
Users can conveniently sign in through their registered mobile number, gaining entry to a dedicated JioTV Premium Tab that amalgamates content from all partnered platforms. Notably, Disney+ Hotstar and Prime Video (Mobile) will be available on their respective platforms, with activation processes outlined for each.
The newly introduced prepaid plans are as follows:
– Rs 398 Plan (28 Days Validity): 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS/day, and JioTV Premium (12 OTTs) for 28 days.
– Rs 1198 Plan (84 Days Validity): 2GB daily data, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS/day, and JioTV Premium (14 OTTs) for 84 days.
– Rs 4498 Plan (1 Year Validity): 2GB daily data, JioTV Premium (14 OTTs), unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS/day, priority customer care, and a JioCinema Premium coupon (redeemable via MyJio app).
– Rs 148 Plan (Data Add-On Voucher): 10GB of data and JioTV Premium (12 OTTs) for 28 days.
This is good but the only trouble is extra data. Imagine you use a WIFI network, then too you would have to pay for 2GB per day. We hope this was not the case but it is what it is. The plan would have been way more cheap and affordable without this compulsion.
2 GB data per day for 28 days costs Rs 299/month. So practically, you would be paying almost Rs 200/month for 14 OTT platforms which is definitely nice.
Which plan will you be looking for?
