Joaquin Phoenix’s ‘C’mon C’mon’ OTT Release Date, Platform In India

Joaquin Phoenix’s heartwarming film ‘C’mon C’mon’ released in theatres in the US back in November 2021. The film did not release in Indian theatres, but film enthusiasts in India have been waiting eagerly to watch the film on streaming. But alas, ‘C’mon C’mon’ is taking its own sweet time to arrive on streaming in India.

Well, not anymore! You’ll be glad to know that we’ve brought you definite information on ‘C’mon C’mon’ streaming in India. The Joaquin Phoenix film begins streaming on TVOD platfrom BookMyShow Stream from this Friday, that is 8th July onwards.

As we said earlier, BookMyShow is a paid video-on-demand platform. This means, those who wish to watch ‘C’mon C’mon’ on BookMyShow must pay a one-time cost to watch the film on the platform. ‘C’mon C’mon’ centres on Johnny (Joaquin Phoenix), a soft-spoken, emotionally-stunted radio journalist. When his estranged sister asks him to mind her son Jesse (Woody Norman) for a few days, Johnny’s world is thrown into disarray. Gradually, however, Johnny begins to form a bond with his 9-year-old nephew that proves transformational for both of them. ‘C’mon C’mon’ offers an uplifting look at mental health and illnesses, despite an undercurrent of sadness that runs through the film. Interestingly, writer-director Mike Mills chose to shoot ‘C’mon C’mon’ in black and white, in keeping with the theme of the film.
