The Malayalam thriller ‘Iratta‘ will soon be streaming on Netflix India. The film tells the story of two identical twins and the pain and struggle they have to face. Iratta will be streaming from the 3rd of March.
Iratta is written and directed by Rohit M.G Krishnan. This is the debut film of Krishnan and he has done a pretty good job in his first film. The film stars Joju George and Anjali in the lead roles and has actors like Srindaa and Abhiram Radhakrishnan in other important roles. Joju has a double role in the movie and he has nailed both the roles with great ease. Anjali returns to the Malayalam Film industry with this Iratta. The cinematography of the film is handled by Vijay and Manu Antony has done the editing. Popular composer of the Malayalam Movie industry Jakes Bejoy has composed the music for the film so you can expect pretty good music in the film.
There are many movies in Malayalam which tell the stories of twins, like Mayamayooram and Annan Thampi. Iratta is a completely different package. It tells the story of DSP Pramod and ASP Vinod. ASP Vinod dies during his duty hours in a police station and his twin Pramod comes to investigate the case of his untimely death. He has to find out some clues during the night and he does not have much time. Iratta is a paced thriller that will give you the time to relate with the characters. It talks about childhood trauma, rivalry between brothers and also their great bond.
