Jon Bon Jovi is holding out hope that the Hulu documentary series helmed by Gotham Chopra The Bon Jovi Story presents the complete, warts and all, “true truth” about the band. Thank you, good night.

The rock star attended TCA in order to promote the four-part series, which examines the band’s history, highs and lows, different members, and more. It covers topics like the challenges surrounding the band’s second album, 7800° Fahrenheit, manager Doc Mcghee’s drug arrest, and different problems amongst band members.

At the recent Music Cares event, Jon Bon Jovi received praise for his career as well as his charitable endeavors, particularly his Soul Kitchen. He claimed that he had never imagined himself sitting next to Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney in his “wildest, craziest” dreams.

With never-before-seen images, original lyrics, and unreleased early demos, the series chronicles the band’s journey from Jersey Shore bars to the world’s biggest stages.

It depicts the band performing all over the world, including in Russia, and it even mentions Bon Jovi’s recent medical issues, which have resulted in him needing vocal surgery.

On April 26, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story will be available on Hulu.
