Then there was a rom-com after ages that left with a warm and satisfying feeling. Without wasting any time further, here are our top picks for binge-watching at the weekend.

Chernobyl:

The HBO produced show has been the talk of the town ever since it started airing. The momentum was built slowly week after week, and by the time Chernobyl reached its conclusion, it was on everyone’s must-watch list. Chernobyl is a historical drama based on the nuclear plant disaster of 1986. It is an absolutely riveting watch with uniformly consistent performances and sensational writing. If you still haven’t seen it, make sure it is on the top priority for binge-watching over the weekend.

Always Be My Maybe:

It is a Netflix Original movie and belongs to the rom-com genre. Netflix has been making films in the kind from time to time as they are one of the most watched on its platform. However, despite a good number of views, the actual content in the movies have abysmal. Most, if not all, were all-glamour and skin show and clichéd. Always Be My Maybe is the rare exception to the usual standard. The performances and the writing make it a pleasant watch. So, if you are in a mood to watch something light and romantic, this is it.

Black Mirror Season 5:

The new season of the much loved Black Mirror is out. The season 5 consists of three episodes and stars an eclectic cast comprising of Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Andrew Scott, Madison Davenport and others. It definitely doesn’t reach the high of the previous seasons, especially the first two, but by this time, one is just interested in checking out new episodes irrespective of the quality based on the name created by the show. It might not be perfect, but for sure will be intriguing enough for a binge-watching session.

I Am Mother

It is a sci-fi thriller with a unique concept. The uniqueness in the idea is what holds it together. It has its share of problems like many others in the genre, but eventually, it settles at a decent level. Watch, I Am Mother, if you are craving for something unique.
