The recent revamp of Jio Cinema is just too revolutionizing for Indian OTT. The company which remained a dormant OTT platform all these years has suddenly started to challenge all the major platforms and it is quite visible. After the free streaming of IPL, the company got the rights to HBO Content, Showtime Originals, Paramount Plus originals, and also the shows from Binge.
But just like every OTT platform operating in India, the real deal are the Indian originals. And Jio Cinema has started working on exactly that. They have lined up a large slate of Indian originals gearing up for release in June. They include biggies like Shahid Kapoor’s Bloody Daddy.
Interestingly, all the upcoming movies and series will be streaming for free on the platform. Sadly, we don’t have all the release dates yet but stay tuned to Binged for official updates.
The titles include:-
Bloody Daddy
The movie directed by Ali Abbas Zafar stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. The action-packed ride will be released on Jio Cinema on June 9th.
Taali
The series starring Sushmita Sen was announced last year. It is based on the real-life of transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant.
Asur Season 2
Easily one of the biggest and best shows ever on Indian OTT, Asur Season 2 was awaited for a long long time.
Mumbaikar
A remake of the Tamil film Maanagaram, Mumbaikar stars Vikrant Massey and Vijay Sethupathi. This marks Sethupathi’s Hindi film debut.
Big Boss OTT
Big Boss OTT is the OTT version of the famous reality TV show hosted by superstar Salman Khan.
